Thank you for your comment. We use a variety of products eg. home remedies and products prescribed by doctors, clinic sisters and pharmacists. Some kids are prone to diarrheoa due to the mothers abusing drugs during pregnancies. This causes a very strong "acidic- like" urine. The main problem is wherever there are many small children together, they are likely to infect each other even though staff, volunteers and visitors are asked to adhere to strict hygienic procedures, such as to wash your hands regularly to prevent transmission before touching another baby. The children themselves also pass on germs hence the runny noses.

Ideally these children should be in a safe and clean environment with only a few siblings and two healthy, caring parents, but that is not the case at a home. Thank you for your comments and please keep in touch.

Hi- I would hate to leave any negative comment as these homes are doing a great service and creating a home away from home for these children. Each and every child is special and lovely. I've been a host parent for sometime and although the home is clean, the staff is great and they have a safe environment the children are always walking around with snotty noses, have chest problems and nappy rashes. SURELY there should be products the staff can use to alievate the nappy rash and how about putting out tissue paper for the volunteers to wipe their noses. Otherwise well done

Hi- I went to visit the home for the first time today and I have to say WELL DONE to the staff and all the people who contribute big or small to make that place a home. The kids are amazing- the toddlers are so advanced. I just couldnt leave the kids captivate your heart. Again- WELL DONE guys....
