Ladies Learning Self-Defence

A few months ago one of our staff members was attacked on her way to work. Margaret offered some basic self -defence techniques for staff to use when attacked. This was specifically done during the 16 days of activism to enable women to take a stance against abuse and, or being attacked. See some pictures of Margaret demonstrating a few of the self-defence techniques.

Wettstein Family Visit

In February 2017, Marcel Hoogebeen brought a Swiss family to visit Christine Revell Children’s Home. The Wettstein family gave us a generous donation to be used towards computers or tablets for the children for educational purposes. In addition Jonas, the little boy, contributed R1,000 of his pocket money to the Home!
