40th Anniversary Dance

Christine Revell Children’s home celebrated their 40th Anniversary recently. The home started up in September 1975, caring for 49 children, aged from birth to 6 years, that come from backgrounds of abandonment, abuse and neglect.

We are glad to announce our 40th Anniversary as an organisation rendering services to the community, having grown from strength to strength. Our Annual Dance was attended by people involved in the home in some or other way – as volunteers, supporters or just part of our Circle of Friends. DJ Ben played different genres of music to cater for all tastes, ensuring the floor was occupied by dancers throughout the evening.

Swim School Aqua Crazy

Okuhle Media recently produced a 3 part Documentary series called Ocean Adventurer. As part of our social investment we vouched to teach underprivileged children how to swim. We partnered up with the Swim School Aqua Crazy, owned by Thaaniya Ameeroedien. We documented the children’s swimming activities, and produced 2 x 2minute inserts that will be aired on the children show HN9, aired on SABC2 weekdays from 4pm – 5pm. It was a very rewarding project and a real privilege to see the children progress from their first lesson to their last!

Here is our SW Shireen van Reenen interacting with one of our little one in her life space – the playground.
